Hey, I'm Jess. I'm a Mum, an Osteopath and a  birth educator based on the Coffs Coast. As an Osteopath I have always had a special interest in treating and supporting women through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, but never more so than after the birth of my own daughter.  Preparing for our own birth was such a special and important time for us as a family. Not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too. Experiencing this special season of life first hand really solidified my desire to provide the support I know to be so important to other women and centre my practice around this field.

 

I graduated from Southern Cross University with a Clinical Science degree and a Masters of Osteopathic Medicine. I have continued my professional development by training as a Birth Doula a HypnoBirthing educator and have attended numerous other short courses centred around treating and supporting women throughout their pregnancy, birth and postpartum period. In areas such as:

-Techniques for Optimal Fetal position

-Breastfeeding support

-Tongue ties in the infant

-Retained primitive reflexes in infants and children 

 

I'm passionate about educating new Mums on the importance of  Optimal Fetal Position and how to encourage it with simple lifestyle changes and gentle exercises. I  also love treating babies & Children and provides support for new mums experiencing breastfeeding difficulty.
